Our Senior Girls side won a tense Final 2-1 (4-3 on penalties) against Michael Park that went right down to the final penalty kick on Wednesday afternoon. Selwyn enjoyed the home advantage and an abundance of parents, students and staff lining the field
with umbrellas and gumboots, cheering the girls on in quite horrendous conditions. This was a fantastic end to a great season in which our Selwyn Girls Football side scored 44 goals and developed as a team. This is a young side and the future is an exciting prospect. Well done to everyone involved, and a big thank you to everyone who supported the team throughout the year! Next year we look forward to our team playing in the A Grade!
