On Tuesday this week, four of our talented students, accompanied by staff member Brianne Kellner, participated in the Enviro-Challenge. The challenge was to improve and raise awareness of what can be done in school to improve the environment, by producing a carbon footprint and choosing a topic for a video and poster. Overall, Selwyn came 4^th in Auckland! This was an amazing result. We were beaten only by three Decile 10 schools, which had all participated before, whereas it was our first time and we were a bit unsure about what to expect. This is a great start for the Environment Council, and next year they aim to take away the title!
