This week the ASB Stadium floor was filled with keen students racing to answer tricky mathematical questions and the atmosphere was positively charged! Each school was limited to just two teams and we had thirteen young mathematicians primed to meet the challenge. One of the Year 9 teams (Kiska, Jenny, Stephen & Dylan) reached a very impressive score of 75 – placing the twelfth out of 109 teams. Thank you to the parents and staff who supported our teams, as well as to all of the Maths classes who had to carry the desks down to the stadium.
Year 9 Teams: Jenny Lam, Stephen Bayley, Hamish Graham, Lis Haraqia, Dylan van Lier, Kiska Ababa, Chester Wang, Matthew Chen and Oscar Grant.
Year 10 Team: Adele Lang, Clark Yparraguirre, Ouday Almoukdad and Regi Murati.
