Enrolment for 2023

We are now accepting enrolment applications for 2023.  Please be aware that Selwyn College has an Enrolment Scheme which means we have a zone. 
You can see our current zone here.

Please use the 'Checklist for Enrolment' in the links on the right to ensure all requirements for the enrolment process are completed.

Once the application has been received, we will contact all in zone students as well as students in Priorities 1 and 2 in the Enrolment Scheme to make an appointment for an enrolment interview.

We welcome enrolments from ORS-funded students to join our Totara Learning Centre.

In Zone Applications

In Zone applicants have the automatic right to attend our school.
If you are IN ZONE please complete this form. You will need to provide the following documents: 
a) To prove your place of residence: a rates bill OR tenancy agreement AND a recent utility bill (Power or Telephone) .
b) A copy of your student's birth certificate, passport or visa
c) A recent school report
d) A signed Statutory Declaration  - see links to the right.
Please upload scanned copies (or photographs) of all these documents to the enrolment form and bring the originals of all of these documents to your enrolment interview.
To assist the college with its planning, it would be appreciated that In Zone applications are received as early in the year as possible. 

Out of Zone Applications

If you are OUT OF ZONE please complete this form.
You will need to provide these documents:
a) A copy of your students birth certificate, passport or visa
b) A recent school report
Please upload the scanned copies (or photographs) to the enrolment form. The originals will need to be provided if the student is granted an enrolment interview.
An Out-of-Zone Ballot for all year levels will be held on Wednesday 14th September.  Applications must be received no later than Wednesday 7th September.
Applicants will be advised of the results of the ballot by email as soon as possible after the Ballot is held.
Successful applicants will be emailed an offer of place which will need to be returned to us within 14 days either accepting or declining the offer.

Thursday 28th July starting at 6.00pm. 

Out of Zone Enrolment applications for 2023 
Applications will close on Wednesday 7th September 2022. We cannot accept any late applications.
The Ballot Date is Wednesday 14th September.
These dates are set by the Ministry of Education.
