Basketball
Basketball is one of our strongest sporting codes At Selwyn College, with many age grade teams playing in Auckland Secondary School Basketball Competitions in Term 2 and 3. We have consistently qualified for the Auckland Secondary Schools Champions Tournament over the past few years.
The aim of the Basketball programme is to encourage and increase participation in Basketball for boys and girls of all years. Students are trained by expert coaches to help develop their skills, supplied with quality training equipment and provided access to the Barfoot and Thompson Stadium for training purposes.
The College caters for both Senior and Junior Basketball for Boys and Girls.

Participants will need black shorts (preferably PE shorts) and will be provided with a basketball singlet.
Parent Help
We are always looking for coaches and managers - please contact the Sports Department if you can assist.
