The Student Executive is the main embodiment of Student Leadership at Selwyn. It is chaired by the two Student Leaders (also known as Head Students) and is made up of each Council Leader and House Leader.
The members of the 2010 Student Executive are:

Jack Barnard Arts Council
Christy Carson Environment Council
Shakila Maqsoodi and Dawn Sacayan Multicultural Council
Shazea Salim and Harold Goh Social Council
Michael Madziva Sports' Council
Rebekah Watkin-Ward Whaunangatanga Council
As well as a representative from each of Mangopare, Pitau, Rautawa and Takeketonga.
