Selwyn College opened in 1956 to meet the educational needs of the growing Eastern Suburbs. Over 50 years later, the school remains a focal point for the communities of Orakei, Mission Bay, Kohimarama, Meadowbank as well as meeting the needs of students fromthroughout Auckland. In 2006 we celebrated our 50th Jubliee over Queens Birthday weekend (June 2-5).  It was a huge success as hundreds of former students, teachers and staff returned to enjoy fond memories of their time at Selwyn. Many thanks go out to all those who helped make this special Jubilee a memorable event.
