Volunteer Tutors are always needed and welcome at Selwyn Learner Support Department.
All you need is to :
- Like young people and be ready to work with teenagers
- Have a sense of humour
- Plenty of patience
- Reasonable command of English
- Some spare time - anything from an hour per week
We will provide :
- Individual work
- Support for your teaching
- Students who need your help and time
- Tea, coffee and biscuits
- An opportunity to meet other tutors
You can make a difference with volunteering as little as an hour a week. These students benefit from one on one adult time.
